Dalit-Buddhist activist Suraj Kumar Bauddh, founder of Mission Ambedkar, has sought the Attorney General’s consent to initiate criminal contempt proceedings against preacher Aniruddhacharya and YouTuber Ajeet Bharti for allegedly provoking hostility and violence against Chief Justice of India B.R. Gavai. The plea follows a viral video and social media posts that targeted the CJI, days after a lawyer attempted to attack him inside the Supreme Court.
